As a marketing manager with over 10 year's experience in retail and consultation marketing, I've barked up many a tree – some right and some wrong. One of the things I’ve learnt is that setting out on the correct course of action is not always easy. But, having a clear goal in mind, a strategy in place and a plan on paper, does help.
I started my career in furniture retail where I worked for approximately 8 years. In that time I completed a post-graduate degree in Marketing Management. I then explored the client service side – acting as a client partner to fintech, agriculture and manufacturing/retail clients in both B2B and B2C sectors. I fell in love with working on different brands - seeing them benefit, grow and prosper from implementing considered marketing strategies.
Project management goes hand in hand with marketing - and that's where I also thrive. I enjoy organising, directing and bringing order to chaos.
